Carlton Court Care Home 112 Bells Hill, Barnet, EN5 2SQ ★★★☆ Carlton Court is a service for older people who are in need of nursing and personal care. Carlton Court provides accommodation to a maximum of 81 people some of who may have dementia. People, staff and relatives were positive about the appointment of the new manager. Regular meeting were held with staff to discuss improvements and a robust system of auditing the quality of care was operated by the manager. People’s care records required improvement to ensure they provided a comprehensive account people’s needs.

I believe this comes from hard work, attention to detail and team bonding. Our residents and the team at Cuffley Manor are at the heart of what we do and what we strive towards. There are lots of activities held in a positive and encouraging manner.
We are sad that dad needs to be in care but the whole family are in agreement that we would be hard pushed to find a nicer home than Cuffley Manor. The letters, if they even existed, never saw the light of day though, and the relationship, or not, between the German Government and the British Royal Family would remain a source of mere speculation. Upon the return of the Hesses to the castle in 1946 the theft was discovered and though American authorities jailed the three involved, only ten percent of the priceless heirlooms were ever recovered. There is of course a shuttle service for guests to and from Castle Hotel Kronberg but for those who choose to come by other means you can get a train from Frankfurt Central Station which will whisk you to Kronberg Station in just 18 minutes.

We reviewed the information and data available to us about Cuffley Manor Care Home on 8 December 2022. We have not found evidence that we need to reassess the rating at this stage. I joined TLC in 2019 and enjoyed being in Care rather than hotels where I previously worked. Moving to care was the best decision of my life and I feel helped me discover myself.

Their smiles and gentleness are very important to daily life at Cuffley Manor. The care, support and encouragement provided to my Mother is excellent, so a big thank you to all especially her keyworkers who are always on the ball with picking up and dealing promptly with any issues. For over a hundred years the Alte Oper has been one of Europe’s most celebrated venues for classical music, and today still regularly plays host to the likes of Frank Peter Zimmermann, Martha Argerich and the Berlin Philharmonic.

Breakfast isn’t included in the rate, which is unfortunate, but is worth the extra, as are any of the meals you may sample from their very highly rated restaurant located in one of the Castle’s most grand halls. Their rooms and suites range from single rooms to top of the range suites, the best of all being the 130 square meter, two level, two double bedroom,Grand Suite. None of the accommodation choices will disappoint though, even the ‘single rooms’ would be worthy of a much grander title in any other hotel.
People were asked for their permission before staff assisted them with care or support. People received appropriate support and encouragement to eat and drink sufficient quantities and people’s nutritional needs were assessed and monitored effectively. People had access to a range of healthcare professionals when they needed them and feedback from health care professionals was positive. People told us they felt safe living at Cuffley Manor Care Home.
